Description

 

Job Summary

 

This position will be a part of the Business finance team and will be leading the Business Finance Team working closely with the Head of Finance to drive the financial planning for the company. Key responsibilities include Long term strategic planning, driving targets with the functional teams, preparing & managing the quarterly & annual operating plan, setting up process & control, Operational & Financial metrics analysis etc.

The successful candidate will be strategic, analytical, and have demonstrated the ability to effectively manage the finances and support growth and expansion of new businesses.

 

Key responsibilities:

 

o  Drive financial planning for the organization and create the AOP with the management and functional leaders setting targets for each functional for the quarter/year

o  Work with Business Finance leads for each of the functions and set targets in conjunction with them

o  Driving the business expansion targets

o  Drive financial reviews with Cities and functional leaders on meeting growth and Unit Economics targets

o  Create forecasts to track performance vs targets and ensure necessary corrective measures are taken

o  Creating financial models and presentations for funding and ad-hoc investor related work including audits

o  Work on cost optimization and automation projects to create a more effective PnL

o  Optimization of the Indirect costs and setting up the right processes for review and control of costs

 

Best Fit Profile:

·        6 Years of experience post qualification in Business Finance / Strategy Finance or FPA .

·        Master’s in Business – Finance/Strategy or CA is preferred

·        Would be closely working with leadership team.

·        Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work with and influence cross functional teams

·        Self-starter who can take ownership of deliverables with minimal direction and develop new ways of approaching business problems

·        Continuous improvement attitude and fast learning ability

 

·        Excellent verbal and written communication skills
