About The Role: 
 
This position can be located in San Francisco or remote in Denver, CO. This is an exciting opportunity to build and lead a new segment that is core to our business! As an SMB Manager, you will lead a team of Account Executives in our New York & San Francisco office that focus on closing pivotal deals in accounts experiencing growth. You will help build a team of highly motivated, energetic sales professionals that take pride in landing new customers, running strategic sales cycles and delivering the Leanplum message to a wide base of accounts across various industries. We are looking for an individual who is a mentor & coach, someone who fosters talent, strives to guide their employees to truly understand their customers' challenges and goals so that they can articulate business value and quantifying business impact.

Requirements

    • 4+ years of SaaS sales experience
    • A track record of exceeding $1M+ annual quotas
    • 2+ years leading a B2B sales team selling to companies with 1-100 employees
    • Sales methodology such as MEDDICC and Command of the Message a plus.
    • Expertise with Funnel CreationExperience managing, hiring and training Account Executives to achieve performance goals.
    • Experience developing a new territory and or experience managing a lead generation team timely preferred.
    • Excellent communication, business acumen organizational and time management skills required
    • Customer-centric
    • Robust Salesforce analysis and reporting and forecasting skillset is highly preferred.
    • Passionate about technology
    • Knowledgeable about our space
    • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
    • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
    • BA/BS degree

Responsibilities

    • Hire, train and manage a team of SMB Account Executives
    • Develop AEs for career growth within the Leanplum Sales Organization.
    • Accurately and on-time reporting on sales metrics and forecast to senior sales management
    • Motivate individuals and team to exceed objectives through coaching and mentorship.
    • Actively use salesforce.com to manage sales process, and set standards for performance metrics.
    • Engage your team with daily huddles, interactive meetings and fun challenges.
    • Over-achievement of sales targetsEffectively lead your Sales Team to success hitting monthly, quarterly and annual sales goals.
