Description

As the Director of Communications you will be responsible for leading the company’s media and analyst relations initiatives to position the company as an industry thought leader and generate brand awareness.
 
The ideal candidate is a smart, highly-motivated self-starter that works strategically to develop a marketing vision yet still enjoys getting his/her hands dirty and can execute a direct and measurable impact on business results.

Responsibilities:

    • Development and ownership of a thought leadership and communications strategy working closely with the executive team.
    • Identify, vet and help create opportunities to obtain media coverage for Qventus and its customers.
    • Develop supporting media relations materials (fact sheets, response statements, news releases, briefing materials, etc.); provide effective and innovative support for customer communication opportunities.
    • Manage the company’s communications firm and social media channels. Customer success-oriented attitude toward external and internal stakeholders.
    • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where you must take on multiple responsibilities and do what it takes to deliver results.
    • Write compelling marketing content in a variety of forms; strong copywriting and editorial skills.

Qualifications:

    • Relevant experience/professional and technical skills: public relations, media relations, corporate communications, social media, excellent verbal and written communication skills, organization skills, content management, SEO, graphic design execution, and creative design execution.
    • Entrepreneurial-minded individual that can work as an ‘army of one’ at the start, have a strong DIY mentality and then build out your team to take on a wide variety of marketing-related programs.
    • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are a must. Experience writing long-form content (substantive white papers through book-length projects).

Requirements:

    • 6+ years working in technology communications (ideally in healthcare technology)
    • Bachelor's degree required
    • Ability to travel up to 25%
