The Senior Accountant will be responsible for GL functions including asset and liability reconciliation, consolidation, process improvements and policy development and documentation. You will have the chance to serve as a key contributor to a high growth environment and strengthen your understanding of operational accounting processes. The ideal candidate for this role will develop strong working relationships with cross-functional partners to keep the business ahead of emerging accounting issues. This role will initially report to the Controller.

What you'll do

    • Prepare variance analyses for key balance sheet and P&L accounts
    • Manage and improve general ledger functions including balance sheet reconciliations, journal entry preparation, preparation for month end close for US and foreign entities in accordance with GAAP
    • Manage full cycle accounts payable, including ensuring all invoices are coded to the correct general ledger accounts and timely payment of all invoices in accordance with vendor terms
    • Review and process expense reports in accordance with company policy
    • Continually drive improvement in accounting processes, controls, and infrastructure
    • Partner with Controller for various tax and renewal filings
    • Prepare for annual audits
    • Manage time effectively, multi-task, and work under tight deadlines
    • Assist in the migration from Xero to new accounting systems, including NetSuite

What excites us

    • 3+ years of experience, including public accounting
    • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
    • CPA or certification in process preferred
    • Self-starter with outstanding analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
    • Experience working in a high-growth environment
    • Positive attitude and self-motivated team player
    • Experience with NetSuite
    • High proficiency with Microsoft Excel
