The role:

A Sojern Associate Account Manager in the London-based EU Team will play a critical role within the company through hands-on management of advertiser campaigns while developing and maintaining partner relationships.

The Account Management team spend the majority of their time on commercially-focused work, while retaining enough oversight & insight into their campaigns to successfully retain and grow accounts.

As an Associate Account Manager, you’ll have the opportunity to work with major travel and brand advertisers in the fast-paced, online travel-advertising environment. You will play a critical role within the company through hands-on management of advertiser campaigns.


  • Work with the Account Management team to build successful digital advertising strategies - maximise their campaign performances, communicate their needs internally and lead post-campaign analysis/review.

  • Partner closely with internal teams on day-to-day operational processes.

  • Collaborate with sales, ad operations, and external partners to make campaigns successful and meet goals.

  • Build an understanding and knowledge of campaign performance that allows you to provide recommendations to ensure account satisfaction, renewal and overall commercial growth.

  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders

  • Support team on optimisation plans; aiming to achieve quarterly target service levels and results

  • Work with the team to build recommendations that improve performance quality

  • Serve as key point of contact for internal teams to help resolve issues and answer questions

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders; participate in special projects and initiatives

  • Effectively and professionally represent our brand and our platform


What you bring to the table:

  • Great with people – ability to work with internal teams

  • Understanding of the digital advertising industry

  • Confident and energetic; flexible and adaptable; organised and able to succeed in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

  • Presentation skills

  • Excel skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field. (Economics, Finance, Marketing etc.)

  • 1 year post-college work experience in Digital Advertising or Programmatic Account Management.

  • Knowledge or understanding from working with a DSP (Appnexus, DBM, MediaMath etc) and/or Adphorus or other social media platforms is an added bonus

  • Desire to build analytical skills that leverage our data-driven platform to produce successful campaigns

  • Willing to wear multiple hats and roll up your sleeves to get the job done
