Description

We take the privacy of our users and the security of their data very seriously. As our client base and our product grows, Torch is investing further in infrastructure hardening, compliance, and certification in several areas.

Objectives

    • Work with engineering and customer success teams to identify ways for the Torch platform and related infrastructure to meet our clients security needs.
    • Oversee QSA activities with regard to ISO certification and compliance.
    • Work in a devops role to make necessary infrastructure changes necessary to meet long term information security goals.
    • Develop, execute and oversee regular information security practices (such as regular pen. testing, key rotation, vulnerability scanning)
    • Participate in the product code review process.

Competencies

    • Degree in Computer Science or a related STEM field
    • A security certification is preferred (such as SANS/GIAC, CISSP, CISA, CISM)
    • Experience with securing modern web applications on cloud infrastructure (preferably AWS)
    • Familiarity with modern web application architecture, APIs and distributed patterns.
    • Scripting / programming skills
