About the Role: We are looking for a Content & Email Marketer to join our team. Our ideal candidate is a storyteller who is passionate about making the technical feel human and authentic, and understands how to master both creative and operational tasks. You’ll also have an eye for data, and actively work towards success metrics, report on results, and make recommendations based on content performance.
Responsibilities: Own our email marketing channel, managing the strategy, creative, and operations of all our email campaignsAct as an integrated campaign manager, brainstorming new campaign ideas and overseeing the role each channel plays in our content and marketing strategyWrite and promote content across other channels — such as blog, social, lead generation, and sales enablement — to expand Leanplum’s digital footprint, brand awareness, and leads Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, digital, field marketing, product marketing, product, customer success, and salesCopyedit content from the rest of the team, from time to timeBe data-driven. Measure, monitor, and report on campaign success and experiments
3-5 years of relevant experience with content or email marketing.
Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Marketing or other related areas
Ability to make sophisticated B2B technology accessible to a wide audience — bonus if you’ve worked with other SaaS companies before
Excellent writing and editing skills
Meticulous proofreader who can spot a typo from a mile away
Comprehensive knowledge of Marketo and ability to leverage Salesforce for reporting purposes
Familiarity with Wordpress and Google Analytics
