About the Role
Leanplum is searching for a Director of Sales Enablement to drive the on-boarding and ongoing learning for our rapidly growing go-to-market organization. This role will report to the SVP of Business Operations and will have a small team to execute tactical as well as programmatic learning programs for the Sales, Sales Development, and Customer Success teams. Additionally, this person will assist in the design of the externally facing customer and partnership onboarding programs with collaboration from other teams.
The ideal candidate will have a background in sales and sales enablement with experience in leading a team. This role will require a combination of crafting original content that is highly consumable, leveraging existing content, and conducting effective live training sessions.

    • Execute a holistic global training curriculum for all new hires in Leanplum’s sales and customer success teams
    • Develop ongoing learning curriculum for our sales professionals, in close collaboration with sales leadership
    • Deliver live training sessions in our global offices of San Francisco, New York, Amsterdam, and Singapore on a quarterly basis
    • Drive the selection, deployment, and management of sales methodologies, internal learning tools, and infrastructure
    • Schedule and facilitate regular forums for sales learning and knowledge sharing
    • Partner closely with colleagues in Product Marketing, Product Management, and Marketing to craft and deliver effective sales trainings
    • Lead development and rollout of sales certification programs, annual sales kickoff, and other key sales training initiatives
    • Support new product launches with training plans to help drive adoption by the sales team
    • Evaluate the effectiveness of sales enablement initiatives, identify key opportunities for improvement through sales productivity and performance data, and partner with leaders from Sales and other departments in order to shape future strategies and priorities


    • 4+ years experience in sales enablement, sales training, or sales at an enterprise software and/or analytics platform
    • Experience with sales training techniques and overall selling process and lifecycle
    • Experience with sales methodologies such as value selling, MEDDICC, and/or Force management
    • Prior sales experience carrying and exceeding quota
    • Experience with technology industry with experience in Enterprise SaaS a strong plus
    • Experience developing sales training curriculum and materials for technically complex products
    • Experience leading front of the room trainings and delivering curriculum
    • Extraordinary interpersonal skills, with demonstrated ability to influence and motivate
    • Passion for helping salespeople learn, grow, and succeed

    • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
