About This Role

    • As a Senior Android Engineer, you are a technical leader on your team.
    • You can independently scope technical solutions and drive a project from beginning to end.
    • You are passionate about developing secure and efficient features into our Android SDK.
    • You have extensive knowledge and experience with Android development, specifically, SDK development.
    • You are passionate about creating efficient and secure APIs, and take pride in creating state of the art, secure and easily integrated SDKs
    • You love interacting with your colleagues and value collaboration.
    • Your communication skills are as good, or better than your engineering skills.


    • Develop features to support Leanplum’s Android SDK
    • Work with designers and product managers to deliver best-in-class customer and user experience
    • Work closely with other mobile and backend engineers to drive cross discipline products to completion


    • CS degree or equivalent
    • 4+ years of experience with Android development.
    • Minimum 2 years of mobile SDK development.
    • Practical experience working with different data models, browser storage and caching
    • Experience with Android performance tools and optimization techniques
    • Experience with client-server protocols and security models.
