Position Overview
Exabeam is looking for a highly passionate technical Product Manager who is looking to make an impact in leading the development of Exabeam Security Management platform (SMP) infrastructure – driving capabilities to ensure the platform operates at very large data scale and in the large variety of customer environments. This position is both a champion for the customer and a resident technical expert on our Security Management Platform. The ideal candidate is a seasoned technical product manager with proven Big Data and data-intensive applications expertise, or an engineer with strong devOps competencies and a passion for product, looking to transition into Product Management.


    • Own the strategic vision and roadmap for the infrastructure of our Security Management Platform
    • Gather product requirements from internal and external customers and market to drive the development of core infrastructure, i.e. data ingestion layer, analytics pipeline, data migration service, and deployment process in on-prem and cloud environments
    • Work closely with the engineering and QA teams to ensure the Exabeam SMP is highly scalable and fault tolerant
    • Define scope and prioritization of the roadmap & backlog and be flexible to iterate /change per latest developments to meet release deadlines
    • Engage with all stakeholders to ensure end-to-end delivery of products and achieve high customer satisfaction
    • Be an expert advocate of the customer needs to deploy and operate the Exabeam SMP platform in our Enterprise customer IT environment
    • Work with the larger organization to communicate and make tradeoffs to meet corporate objectives


    • BA/BS in Computer Science or related technical field, with a strong record of academic success
    • 2+ years of experience as a Technical Product Manager building successful enterprise Big Data platforms, or 2+ years of experience as a Devops engineer owning highly scalable, flexible, and fault tolerance infrastructures
    • Technical experience with data-intensive applications, Kubernetes, and deployments in major virtualization platform technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP, ESXi,etc.)
    • Technical experience with distributed systems, and highly-scalable, highly-available infrastructures
    • No prior cyber security knowledge required, but Sysadmin linux knowledge a plus
    • Strong affinity for enterprise product management and for being the voice of your customer
    • Track record for being detail-oriented with a demonstrated ability to self-motivate and follow-through on projects
    • True team player, exceptional collaboration and partnership skills
    • Excellent communication skills: written, verbal, group presentations
    • Can dive deep and is never out of touch with the details of the business
    • Positive attitude and creativity in generating solutions
