Ritual’s Senior Influencer Marketing Manager will grow the future of the Ritual brand through people. More specifically, they will be responsible for our paid and earned influencer program, including acting as a leader in customer and community development. This role is essential, and highly integrated cross-functionally.  They will lead efforts focused on partnerships, strategy, and relationships with all influencers. This includes anyone who can influence and audience, including, but not limited to: scientific experts, health and fitness experts, celebrities, ambassadors, bloggers, branded accounts, creators, and customers. Anyone can be an influencer. Influencer objectives touch many parts of our business, and this person’s toolkit includes storytelling, brand development, community building, and new customer acquisition. The overarching mission of this role and function is to build trust in Ritual. How Ritual gets there is up for the right candidate to determine—we’re looking to establish a unique and highly engaging approach.

What You’ll Do

    • Work in partnership with the marketing team to identify, build and execute 360 programs across channels.
    • In service to multiple KPIs, you and your team will be responsible for integrating efforts across the full stack of marketing at Ritual.
    • Strategy and vision. We believe influencer marketing is still in the 1st inning. So we’ll look to you to provide thought leadership and to define the playbook of tomorrow.
    • Be the point person on managing all influencer relationships, either directly or via overseeing teammates. This role is a critical leader in community development.
    • Customers are our favorite influencers and will be a focal point. Oversee key influencer campaign elements, including briefs, budget management, contract negotiations, and integrations into media and content. Analyze, review, and report on it all.
    • Identify new and emerging influencers.
    • Work with legal & quality assurance team to ensure influencer content meets legal standards. Transparency and ethics are important to us.
    • In partnership with the social media team, monitor influencer dialogue and feedback and make recommendations for action.
    • Organize and host regular community and influencer events that personify the Ritual brand.

You’ll be able to engage influencers through a narrative that is compelling and provides a canvas for our partners to tell their own stories.

    • Scrappy. You are self-motivated, highly proactive and demonstrate an ability to work autonomously, taking the lead on projects and anticipating the needs of the team.

    • Organized. You have strong planning, project management, and organizational skills in order to be proactive to the ever-changing needs of social and digital media. You’re comfortable managing multiple projects at a time.
    • An analytical mind. You try new things and have ideas on how to measure the success of your tests and experiments.
    • Team player. You have a positive attitude, excellent work ethic, and strong interpersonal skills. You’re not afraid to get gritty and roll up your sleeves.

What You Need

    • Education: BS/BA, preferably in marketing, advertising or a creative field. Equivalent experience also accepted.
    • Experience: 4-8 years of marketing experience or talent management. Deep understanding and passion for influencer landscape and social media trends.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to speak effectively across all levels of business, both internally and externally.
    • Solid interpersonal skills with the ability to work with a wide range of personality types.
    • Ability to work in a highly collaborative, team-oriented environment.  
    • Adaptable, ambitious, and confident self-starter. Comfortable in a high-growth, fast-paced environment.
    • Ability to grasp and execute processes, facilitate change, and help define best business practices.
