Propel is looking for exceptional developers to help us build next-generation PLM solutions for our customers across many industries. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a highly collaborative environment, has a thorough understanding of enterprise business application development, and stays informed about best practices and emerging web and SaaS technologies. You’re a software engineer who has a few years of experience in a fast-paced development environment. You have experience rapidly building products and are acquainted with the platform and front-end frameworks, such as React.

The desired skills/experience for the ideal candidate:

    • 2-5 years experience in developing SaaS applications using JavaScript or Salesforce technologies
    • Knowledge of common engineering concepts: algorithms, design patterns (including OOP), and modularization
    • Familiarity with technologies, including Apex, Visualforce, Communities, Salesforce1/ and Heroku platform knowledge
    • HTML/CSS and responsive design principles and experience. Good understanding of usability and visual design principles
    • Practical and relevant use of Git and GitHub team development practices

    • Architect, design, and implement code to help deliver our next generation PLM solutions
    • Have a passion for quality and writing clean, solid, readable code that scales and performs well
    • Analyze, design and develop test cases and implement automated test suites to ensure appropriate code coverage
    • Work with PMs and Architects across multiple projects
    • Contribute to the analysis of functional requirements
    • Balance long-term velocity with short-term sprint needs
    • Value team excellence over individual productivity
