The Role:

You are a driven, self-motivated, and hungry to learn individual, who is looking to build a career in digital advertising.  As a BDR, you will be a key player in supporting and streamlining our pre-sales operations. Your primary focus in this role will be to support Sales Account Executives (AEs) by top-of-the-funnel prospecting via email efforts, market research, and prospective gifting initiatives. Additionally, you will  be responsible for managing data entry in the Salesforce system & executing several key initiatives in collaboration with other departments. You will have the opportunity to work with multiple departments including Sales, Account Management, and Marketing.



  • Maintain weekly meeting with regional AEs to manage pipeline opportunities

  • Maintain existing sales reports and proactively drive ad hoc reporting aimed at process optimization & sales growth

  • Work as a team with your assigned sales leaders in all efforts that push the business forward

  • Collaborate with sales ops team to creatively prospect new clients via emails, gifts, and strategic marketing blitzes in high-potential cities

  • Support Sales team in creating innovative prospective material by gathering information and providing input on content, presentation layout, and format

  • Learn, comprehend and communicate the sales cycle

  • Proficiently utilize Salesforce with Sojern’s architecture and guidelines

  • Develop internal relationships with stakeholders such as Sales AEs, Ad Ops, Account Managers (AMs), and Marketing

  • Own Salesforce data entry for Leads, Contacts, and Opportunities of the assigned Sales AEs’ Opportunities


Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (preferred in business, marketing, or a related field)

  • Goal-oriented, passionate, high-energy professional with a “no excuses” attitude

  • Self-motivated, willing to learn new technologies and able to work independently & cross-functionally

  • Must have strong written & verbal communication skills as this is a client facing position

  • Must be comfortable and competent in communications to veteran sales representatives and executives both internally & externally 

  • Possesses the drive to participate and succeed in the growth of an extremely fast-paced, exciting company

  • Hands-on experience using is a plus

  • Digital Marketing experience a plus
