Manager, Business Operations and Analytics at Torch Leadership Labs

Torch is looking for a Manager of Business Operations and Analytics to join our fast-growing team. You are someone who is excited to work in a mission-driven, fast-paced environment where you can see the impact of your work. This role will work cross-functionally with Product, Customer Success, Sales and Marketing to conduct analysis and provide operational insights.


    • Bring clear thinking and excellent problem-solving skills to a range of challenging business questions.
    • Conduct in-depth analysis of key data sets and develop a deep understanding of key value drivers to identify improvement areas and opportunities.
    • Support strategic planning by creating and maintaining company KPIs and dashboards.
    • Act as a point person for solving touch, analytical problems.
    • This could include customer retention and expansion testing and analysis, or diving into the CAC/LTV of our users.
    • Support operational cadence of the business through quarterly and monthly business reviews.
    • Work closely with our Sales and Marketing teams to further refine our approach to analytics.


    • 3 - 5 years of relevant experience, ideally in a quantitative role.
    • Experienced performing complex analysis of financial and operational data geared to create value and improve business performance.
    • Proven track record of collaborating with cross-functional groups to produce meaningful results.
    • Experience supporting a strategic planning or operational performance management process in a fast growing business or professional services environment highly desirable.
    • Experience and proficiency communicating analytical and business insights through well-designed tables, infographics, and written communication.
    • Experience developing and maintaining analytical reporting, dashboards oriented to enable insight and action highly valued.
    • Highly proficient conducting analysis with spreadsheets (excel, google sheets) and database tools (access, etc).
    • Familiarity with modern tools including CRMs (Hubspot, Salesforce), and Data Integration Engines (ex. Looker, etc).
    • Ability to deeply understand complex business questions and structure data inputs, analysis, and outputs to test hypotheses.
    • Creative, intellectually curious, and able to effectively collaborate cross-functionally, partnering with stakeholders to drive business performance.
    • Experience with enterprise software or SaaS desirable.
    • Ability to operate effectively in ambiguity.
    • Creative, resourceful, detail-oriented, and organized. Strong critical-thinking and creative problem-solving abilities.
