Content Producer and Brand Manager at Torch Leadership Labs

Torch is looking for a dynamic content producer and brand manager to join our Marketing team. This position will play a key role in our go to market strategy by telling a compelling brand story across multiple strategic channels and audiences. This role will lead content planning, development and optimization in order to establish Torch as a premium brand and thought leader in the leadership domain.

Objectives

    • Evangelize brand, champion our customers, and steward our brand standards.
    • Oversee brand campaign management.
    • Set content objectives and metrics based on business goals.  
    • Build, maintain and communicate a content calendar and roadmap.
    • Define production schedules, budget requirements and scope of work.
    • Create new content assets and oversee complete content lifecycle (through production) including digital copy, event content, interactive content, infographics, videos, webinars, and social.
    • Be willing to test and learn new content formats, marketing approaches, and copy styles.
    • Provide careful review, editing, and feedback on marketing assets.  
    • Maintain, organize, and scale our growing content library.
    • Regularly audit content quality and assess the gaps based on our customer journey.
    • Make decisions on what content to run and pull based on performance.   

Competencies

    • Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, journalism and/or communications, and minimum 4 years in a similar role for B2B marketing (editorial, content marketing, communications).  
    • 2+ years experience in campaign marketing, digital marketing and demand generation.  
    • Experience creating content for B2B executive buyers and influencers.   
    • Working knowledge of B2B and Executive-level audiences.
    • Experience working with vendors and agencies to produce and plan content.   
    • Proficient on Adobe creative and experience tools, Hubspot, and publishing platforms like WordPress.
    • Keen ability to set priorities and build a holistic content plan across the customer journey.  
    • Strong storyteller with an appreciation for visual and written content assets.  
    • Skilled at using data to continually optimize and improve content. 
    • Strong project management and production skills with ability to effortlessly manage the entire content lifecycle in a collaborative environment. 
    • Excellent editorial and copywriting abilities, outlining and proof reading long-form assets with focused attention to maintaining a compelling story and value proposition.  
    • Self-motivated leader who’s adaptive, positive and collaborative.   
    • Ability to scope scrappily and manage your resources as we scale the marketing org.  
    • High level of self-awareness/EQ and humility to inspire, and willingness to coach and guide those who don’t know as much about content development.  
    • Bonus: Video production experience, design skills, copyediting, brand building experience, project management.
    • Coaching experience preferred: Has been a recipient of coaching or currently performing professional services as a coach. If no coaching experience, having received therapy would be a plus.
    • Healthy performance mindset: Has a strong work ethic and driven to perform at the highest level. Balances physical and mental health in order to perform at such a level and supports healthy performance mindset in others.
