Sales Operations Manager at Torch Leadership Labs

Torch is looking for a Sales Operations Manager to drive strategy and operational excellence for our Sales team. You are someone who is excited to work in a mission-driven, fast-paced environment where you can see the impact of your work. This role requires someone who is self-motivated, and excited to work cross-functionally across teams to build processes and enable the Sales team at Torch to consistently hit business targets.

Objectives

    • Manage day-to-day sales operations with a focus on key sales metrics and processes.
    • Closely partner with the executive team to design and implement productivity targets, quota credit and compensation rules, territory definition and account assignments.
    • Support creation of onboarding curriculum for incoming sales reps and channel partners.
    • Identify opportunities to increase sales productivity and improve operational efficiencies.
    • Manage operations and support for Torch channel partners.
    • "Manage up" to reinforce policies and processes that will allow the business to continue to rapidly scale.
    • Create and manage collateral for Sales reps and channel partners.
    • Identify and eliminate sales process bottlenecks and inconsistencies.
    • Work closely with the Marketing team to identify and help execute pipeline generation programs to optimize pipeline impact.
    • Manage and enhance the sales technology stack and other sales productivity tools. This includes managing configurations, driving change management, enhancements, dashboards, and reporting.

Competencies

    • At least 3-5 years of sales and/or sales operations experience; sales experience in a SaaS company highly desirable.
    • Experience analyzing data, forecasting and monitoring trends to drive business decisions. CRM experience, technology savvy and a fast learner.
    • Experience with project management required; experience in driving complex, cross-organizational projects for process improvements is a plus.
    • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to engage with key stakeholders.
    • Adaptable, able to interface equally effectively with customer-facing teams, internal teams and executive leadership.
    • Flexible, demonstrated ability to operate effectively through ambiguity.
