Interior Design Support Representative at Minted

The Interior Design Trade Program Support Representative plays a critical ‘front-line’ role in managing our relationships with some of our highest revenue-driving customers with the primary responsibility of delivering best-in-class customer service to our program members. This is an extremely important role that will support the growth and scaling of one of our fastest growing customer audiences. This is a full-time contractor role reporting into Manager, Art Trade Marketing, with a dotted-line into the Director of Customer Operations, and will be based mostly in our San Francisco office, with some expected travel to the Oakland office for training and key meetings.

You will:

    • Onboard new program members – set-up new accounts in Salesforce, process tax exemption forms with Finance, and send welcome materials on time
    • Deliver pricing quotes for incoming order inquiries from our program members and our regional sales representatives
    • Facilitate / follow-up on art styling requests with our Styling Team
    • Process and document manual purchase orders
    • Resolve damages / unsatisfactory orders (e.g. filing reprint tasks and coordinating returns), in addition to addressing general inquiries and requests from program members
    • Act as an ambassador for the Minted brand, providing best-in-class support to our trade communities. This includes addressing their questions in a timely and courteous manner and proactively resolving issues
    • Raise key observations and trends based on your interactions with our interior design trade members

You are:

    • A fast learner of new processes and tools
    • A creative problem solver, with the ability to drive to resolution self-sufficiently and/or know when and to whom to escalate
    • Highly empathetic, energetic, and passionate about representing our brand in a professional and positive manner in addressing the needs of our high-value design trade customers
    • Able to modulate your communication style based on the audience (both internal and external) and the message you are communicating
    • Detail oriented and very organized, must be able to keep up with trade account requests and demand, in addition to the day-to-day activities

You have:

    • 2+ years of customer service experience; supporting high-value / premium customers a plus
    • High EQ and great communication / relationship management skills – ability to represent the Minted brand to external constituents
    • Strong sense of urgency and good judgement for when urgency is required
    • Proficiency with Salesforce; Google Docs a plus
    • Interest in the interior design industry is a plus
