Payments Accountant at Udemy

Reporting to the Accounting Manager and working with cross-functional teams, you will help with building out our controls and processes related to revenue and payments accounting.  This role will play a key part in standardizing procedures for key finance business functions.

Here’s what you’ll be doing:

    • Build reconciliations and close process for global revenue in multiple currencies
    • Assist with testing and designing revenue subledger for our e-commerce marketplace
    • Work with cross-functional teams to build processes and controls for payouts to instructor-partners
    • Analysis of enterprise revenue and payouts
    • Assist with ASC 606 implementation of our enterprise business
    • Assist with month-end close
    • Various other ad-hoc projects

We’re excited about you because you have:

    • Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance
    • Excellent knowledge of US GAAP, payments
    • Minimum 3 years experience in an Accounting or finance role (Public Accounting a plus)
    • Familiarity with business and accounting systems
    • Strong Excel skills
    • SQL experience is a plus
