As Senior Content Marketing Manager at Button, you will develop and lead Button’s content marketing strategy to grow and engage our audiences.  You will partner across the Marketing Team and cross functionally to build out our associated SEO strategy and develop and maintain Button’s editorial calendar. You will author impactful content including email, blog posts, long form reports and research, and more, and engage others (internal peers and external resources) to scale and diversify content marketing initiatives.
 
You will be the primary owner of usebutton.com, and, as part of Button’s internal website team, bring your content strategy to life on one of our most visible platforms.
 
We are looking for a creative, strategic marketer who is passionate about developing a narrative and can skillfully engage diverse audiences. While writing will be a core element of the role, we’re excited about multimedia and the endless possibilities (video, infographic, podcast, and beyond). As our first Content Marketer, you will have an incredible opportunity to shape your role and fuel Button’s growth with the narrative that you write and content programs that you build.

AS A SENIOR CONTENT MARKETING MANAGER YOU WILL:

    • Develop and lead Button’s content marketing strategy to engage and grow our audiences
    • Author a variety of impactful content, from reports and blog posts to the pages of usebutton.com 
    • Establish and maintain Button’s editorial calendar, and distribute to key stakeholders
    • Identify and engage internal contributors and external resources as needed
    • Represent marketing and deliver on your content strategy as part of Button’s website team
    • Share monthly and quarterly reporting and insights on key content marketing metrics and how they contribute to Button’s goals and growth

WE LOOK FOR TEAMMATES WHO HAVE:

    • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and visual), and the ability to turn complex concepts into clear, jargon-free narrative
    • Demonstrated success building and engaging an audience through a variety of media
    • A passion for B2B brand messaging, content strategy, and content development including, but not limited to: website content, email, reports, and blog content
    • Experience with modern marketing tools (Marketo is a plus)
    • Superior project management skills, and comfort balancing multiple priorities and deadlines and managing others towards shared goals
    • Phenomenal teamwork and willingness to take on tasks great and small to achieve success

    • Nicole Silver, Vice President of Marketing at Button.  Prior to joining Button, Nicole led marketing at Moat, where she established the marketing function, built the marketing team, and launched global marketing programs leading up to Moat’s acquisition by Oracle in 2017. Nicole is a fitness enthusiast and loves running and spending time with her family in Prospect Park.
    • Cori Huang, Brand Designer at Button. Cori works on Button’s visual design, collaborating across teams to build Button’s visual brand identity and create a scalable design system. Cori also loves to read, travel, climb, drink coffee, and get crafty. Ask her what she's reading.
    • Jeffrey Luong, Web Developer at Button. Jeffrey is a developer with a passion for good design and a love for building beautiful UI for users. He enjoys traveling and has a particular soft spot for architectural design.
    • Vanessa Munda, Director of Product Marketing at Button. Prior to Button, Vanessa was VP marketing at Kobalt Music, where she established the product marketing function, launched AWAL, an analytics tool for artists. Before that, Vanessa led growth marketing at Qubit, and launched the Windows 8 SDK at Microsoft. Vanessa loves to travel and spends the weekends running after her toddler.
