Director, Product Management - Federal at MobileIron

As the Director of Product Management for Public Sector, you will be considered the CTO for the products and technologies required for success with customers of all levels of government and government-controlled enterprises. You will be responsible for evangelizing mobile security innovation, for fostering transformation with MobileIron’s customers, and for driving growth in our public sector business. You will also convey the most important elements of successful innovation in the public sector market back to our Product team, ensuring that we consistently and effectively continue to innovate. MobileIron's award-winning platform puts mobile at the center of enterprise security and enables the most important devices in an enterprise to be leveraged to deliver secure but frictionless access to the most important applications in and across agencies. This role sits within the Product Management team, a highly visible group within the company focused on defining product strategy guiding our investments to deliver fundamental value to our customers and investors. You will work closely with a cross-functional team including sales, legal, engineering, and business development to ensure the success of the Public Sector business.

Required Experience: 

  • Candidate must understand Federal accreditation system and process.
  • Must understand the underlying security guidelines driven by NIST and NSA.
  • Must have an understanding of and experience with the Intelligence Community.
  • Must have an understanding of systems integrators with federal footprints (BAH, SAIC, Leidos, Unisys, others).
  • Prefer to have candidate having gone through the FedRAMP and FISMA accreditation processes.
  • Experience with working w/ DISA a plus.
  • An understanding of NIAP for Common Criteria a plus.
  • Top Secret clearance a plus.
  • Min 5 years of experience in software or services product management within Public Sector.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
  • Experience in fast-paced environments with overlapping projects/deliverables.
