The Help Desk individual will support the technology needs (hardware and software) of our employees. This position assists the IT Support Technician in that position’s duties.  This position assists in purchasing hardware, managing networks, setting up email accounts, and troubleshooting workstation and printer problems.


Employee/End-User Support:

  • Set up user accounts and permissions on the organization's servers and applications providing the necessary and approved access to end users.
  • Respond to trouble calls/tickets in a professional, courteous, and timely manner.
  • Assist users with hardware and software questions, concerns and issues.
  • Address issues both face-to-face and remotely.
  • Set up new user accounts/profiles and resolve password issues.
  • Respond and close tickets within approved SLA.
  • Prioritize and manage tickets and workload.
  • Establish a good working relationship with employees and executives. 
  • Hardware and Application Support:

      • Assists in the installation, configuration, administration, maintenance, monitoring, diagnosis, and repair of end user systems (Microsoft Windows and Apple Mac OSX) and software applications within the corporate environment.
      • Assists with the installation, configuration, administration, maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of printers including multi-function printers, copiers, and mobile devices within the corporate environment.
      • Process RMA and/or warranty replacement of hardware.
      • Test and evaluate new technology.
        Maintain asset inventory of hardware and other computing assets.


    Network Support:

      • Assist in the technical support and troubleshooting of basic network issues as needed
      • Assist in setting up and maintaining wireless access points as needed.
