Description

Sojern is looking for a dynamic leader to manage one of the account management teams for our West Coast region. This position will partner with our US sales leaders on sales and account strategy, supervise a team of account managers and be responsible for delivering the highest level of client success. You and your team will manage and influence some of the largest accounts in the world including Marriott, United, IHG and Delta.  To thrive, candidates must be able to build and develop a team, establish trust-based client relationships and have deep experience in online media including performance based, programmatic advertising.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of four San Francisco and Mexico-based account managers focused on the LATAM region

  • Transition the AM team from a technical, console focused team to one that is commercially-focused, client facing and charged with renewals, up-selling and cross-selling

  • Partner with the LATAM region sales team on account and campaign strategy

  • Partner with other Account Management leads and the Ad Operations team on process improvement and best practices

  • Oversee successful campaign management of performance based digital media campaigns

  • Lead the hiring, onboarding, development and mentoring of a growing team

  • Drive innovation and process improvement to generate efficiencies for Sojern and our clients

 

Requirements:

  • Fluent in Spanish required

  • Experience doing business in Spanish-speaking Latin America a plus

  • 12+ years of digital media experience in an Account Management role or similar.  

  • Experience hiring and managing a team for 7+ years required

  • Experience managing and influencing high profile clients

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

  • Proven ability to interpret business needs and client objectives, identify next steps and execute with minimal supervision

  • Technical skills include experience with at least one DSP, Salesforce.com and MS Office applications; DBM and Tableau experience preferred

  • Excellent communication and organization skills

  • Proven track record of exceeding expectations

  • Willing to travel 15% to 25% of your time

  • Must travel one week a month to San Francisco for the first six months 

  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field
