About the Role: As Solution Engineer you will be responsible for building integrations between Leanplum’s Platform and those of our customers and key partners, You will be working with a wide array of clients, from mid-market brands to established, mobile first, enterprises building reliable high quality and scalable integrations. Leanplums Professional Services team focus is to activate and enable growth focus marketeers achieving their goals faster by leveraging Leanplum’s Customer Engagement platform.
 

Responsibilities:

    • Become a technical expert in the marketing and mobile space and develop a deep understanding of the Leanplum Platform
    • Lead technical classroom sessions with our customer’s engineering teams to provide them with best practices about our SDKs, APIs, and Platform ecosystem
    • Provide customers with forward guidance & best practices  around integration architecture & strategy
    • Lead and contribute to team projects to develop, improve, and scale our onboarding process
    • Architect robust and scalable integration solutions which are repeatable and easily supportable.
    • Troubleshoot issues & find solutions to problems throughout the software development lifecycle as our customers work towards their initial launch on the platform
    • Engage with Product and Engineering teams to help drive product strategy
    • Debug customer issues and create reproducible test cases
    • Work directly with customers via email and phone
    • Partner with Sales and operations to help answer customer questions and size the technical effort required in building integration solutions.

Requirements:

    • Minimum 5 years of software or technology experience with a minimum of 2 years experience as a solutions engineer or an integration engineer working with B2B integrations with enterprise customers.
    • Working knowledge of various SDLC methodologies including Agile and Waterfall
    • Prior experience building and deploying robust programmatic integrations with APIs in a production environment.
    • 3+ years of experience working with customers, preferably at a technology company, in a technical support or integration role
    • 2+ years supporting Mobile (iOS/Android) software, with preferred experience with at least 1+ years of Mobile SW or full stack development.
    • A good understanding of database concepts and fluency in SQL
    • Ability to understand complex enterprise requirements and craft tailored solutions
    • Strong critical thinking skills, including ability to identify suboptimal design patterns

Bonus Points:

    • College degree (CS) Worked in the Marketing Automation or Ad-Tech Space
    • Experience with integrating SaaS and on-prem Systems as well as CDPs
    • Experience leading technical discussions and workshops with multiple internal and external stakeholders, including customers technical teams and their system integrators.
