About the Role

We are looking for a highly-driven Finance Manager, Tax Operations Financial Manager

We work in a smart innovative way to drive improvements to processes, controls and reporting across regions and operations while upholding strong working partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.

What You'll Do

  • Provide financial leadership across headcount planning, budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning within Tax and Reporting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams - Tax, Accounting, IT, Operations, and Strategic Finance to provide end-to-end financial support within Tax and Reporting.
  • Manage processes related to month-end and quarter-end close, including accruals, variance analysis, and management reporting.
  • Drive process improvements by partnering with up-stream process owners and enhance current tools/systems related to financial and headcount management.
  • Develop management reporting and commentary that provides senior leaders with timely insights into cost center and tax related issues, trends, and risks related to our direct external and functional spend.
  • Evaluate current tax technology software portfolio and make recommendations to optimize use of technology, drive cost reductions, and enhance integration between tools.
  • 8+ years of progressive experience of financial analysis and Operational Finance experience from a high growth technology company and/or Big 4 firm.
  • Hands on OpEx financial management experienced in a best in class environment.
  • Experience using Excel and leading financial software (e.g.Oracle/Cognos-TM1/Tableau) to build and maintain reporting packages on an ongoing basis.
  • Experience building and managing relationships with business partners and other cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills, efficient, self-motivated with the ability to follow through and implement process improvement.
  • Experience managing and developing direct reports.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or equivalent.

Bonus Points if

  • CPA preferred, inactive license considered.
  • Experience working at a leading technology company or high growth company.
  • Communication skills and ability to tailor messaging as required for audiences of varying level and expertise.
  • Some tax knowledge and related experience
