Social Media Strategist at Minted

Minted is seeking a creative, analytical social media marketer to accelerate the impact of this channel on Minted’s growing brand and business. You will be charged with significantly scaling Minted’s social following and engagement through content and influencer presence, as well as acquiring new customers. You will be the point person responsible for all organic social media channels, with particular focus on Instagram, Pinterest, and Facebook, including rigorous quantitative analysis and reporting, strategic long-term planning, and outstanding daily execution.
 
This position reports to the Vice President of Marketing and works cross-functionally with teams across the organization.

You will:

    • Be the social media expert within the company, maintaining a cutting edge understanding of best practices, features, strategies, and tactics..
    • Conceptualize, plan, and execute all social media content on all active channels, including a well-articulated approach for growing followers, engagement, revenue, traffic, and customer acquisition.
    • Create and manage the social media calendar based on the company’s product marketing priorities and broader cultural trends.
    • Design and execute social media reporting on key metrics, including growth in fans/followers, engagement, traffic, new customers, and revenue.
    • Create and share weekly performance reporting with key stakeholders
    • Develop a thoughtful approach for experimenting, testing and measuring social media features.
    • Partner with the Associate Art Director for Social Media on creative needs (from ideation to approval) for all channels, and with Brand Awareness, PR, and Paid Social/Display teams to share and maximize learnings and collaborate across integrated marketing campaigns.
    • Deliver clear and compelling marketing briefs to the creative team. 
    • Develop and help create social media content with bloggers and influencers that are aligned with the brand and business goals.
    • Identify and specify product features/app development required to support social marketing.

You have:

    • 5+ years of experience in marketing, with at least 3 years working directly on social media and digital strategy
    • Extensive experience building followings and acquiring new customers in all social channels.
    • Proven ability to lead multiple projects, prioritize and deliver against changing priorities, multiple stakeholders, and aggressive deadlines.
    • Existing influencer relationships and experience.
    • An understanding of SEO + keywords to optimize pin descriptions and boards.
    • Experience with relevant tools, including Photoshop and Dash Hudson.
    • Photography and videography skills, including experience producing video content optimized for social, a plus.
