People Operations Partner at Udemy

Udemy is seeking a People Operations Analyst to join its scaling People Operations team.  The People Operations Partner will partner closely with HR, IT, Payroll, Finance, Workplace, and other cross-functional partners to define and drive efficient, scalable processes that meet the dynamic needs of our organization. Reporting to the Head of People Operations, this role will own all tools, systems and infrastructure that supports the People function. The ideal candidate has 4+ years of HR experience, with 2+ years in an HR Operations role. A positive attitude and customer service mindset are a must, and experience with Workday is a huge plus.

Responsibilities:

    • Manage HR data and serve as subject matter expert on all People Ops systems.
    • Partner closely with the People Operations team and People Partners (HRBPs) to execute HR operational processes and services with a focus on employee experience and data integrity.
    • Become our Workday super-user, processing employee changes, running EIBs, building reports, and assisting with system updates and enhancements.
    • Support reporting, audit, compliance, and data integrity initiatives.
    • Administer our equity program using Carta. Prepare and audit equity awards for board approval.
    • Oversee leaves of absence and provide counsel to employees throughout process.
    • Support our compensation and focal review process.
    • Assist with onboarding new hires as needed.
    • Document, maintain and communicate core HR processes to stakeholders, managers, and employees.
    • Identify and drive process improvement efforts, leveraging HR systems to automate and eliminate manual work where possible. 

Experience:

    • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
    • 4 years of HR experience, and 2+ years of experience in an HR Operations role.
    • An analytical mindset and high level of attention to detail.
    • Strong systems aptitude, Workday experience a huge plus.
    • Exceptional Excel skills.
    • Ability to work independently and on a team. You’ll be working across San Francisco and Denver People Teams.
    • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a demanding, fast-paced work environment.
