Omada was created to improve people’s lives by helping them prevent and manage chronic disease. Our program aims to surround each individual with the personalized support, tools, and information they need to spark and sustain healthy behavior change.

To achieve that goal, we must continually gain new insights into the ‘why’s’ behind our participants’ beliefs and actions, and translate those insights into actionable product recommendations that take competing priorities and development realities into consideration.

That’s where you, our new Researcher, comes in.

Job overview

  • Join forces with a diverse group of experts, working together to crack the nut of behavior change
  • Collaborate with research team members to uncover actionable insights about our participants and our coaching
  • Help non-research team members translate their questions into strong research plans
  • Participate in research in every stage of the product design process — upfront generative research, early concept testing, concept refinement, usability, and post-launch feedback
  • Play all roles in qualitative research: coordination and planning, moderation, note taking, synthesis, socialization
  • Craft surveys and surface patterns from large qualitative data sets
  • Manage in-home research trips
  • Help us all stay in touch with the people whose lives we hope to impact on a daily basis — #participantsfirst

You will love this job if you have:

  • 3+ years experience in design research
  • Experience with qualitative interviewing: planning, recruiting, coordination, moderating, note taking, synthesis
  • Experience working in a shipping product team
  • Deep empathy for people who struggle to improve their health
  • Passion for the craft of research

  • SQL skills
  • Survey and quant skills
  • Work in healthcare and/or behavior change
  • Work with a data science team
