The Challenge Ahead
As an Account Executive you are a hunter, excited to develop and execute a business plan that leverages assets within your territory, build a killer pipeline, and yield reliable forecasts. You excel in solution selling, negotiation, and closing and are charged to achieve annual sales targets aligned to your territory. You build relationships and drive sales through proactive outreach to Galvanize’s existing customer base (cross-sell, upsell, platform expansion), and conduct aggressive/smart prospecting campaigns to greenfield accounts.
As a Galvanize ambassador, you love repping our products and services at industry events and engaging with prospective customers. You talk shop (GRC, ERM, Fraud, Data Analytics, Audit) and seamlessly liaise between sales leadership and Galvanize’s technical resources when required.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a diverse set of stakeholders and teams. You’ll work closely with Pre-Sales, Customer Success, Consulting, Marketing and Product Management and a variety of content contributors and resources and, of course, our beloved customers. You build bridges and deep relationships that have people lined up to partner with you and support your efforts.
Qualifications, Experience, and Abilities;
- Ideally 3+ years in software solutions sales (BI, GRC, ERP, CRM, etc.)
- Experience working with established sales methodologies
- Experience selling cloud and/or SaaS-based solutions
- Proven track record of attaining quota
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- A successful record of forecasting accuracy
- Aptitude for understanding how technology can improve business processes
- Extremely curious and able to draw connections between seemingly disparate ideas
- Proven ability to build a groundswell of interest among a customer base
- Fearless prospector and willingness to do what makes them uncomfortable when its necessary
- Competitive, always striving to be # 1, but in a collaborative way
- Innovative, fearless self-starter, enjoys thinking of news ways to get the job done
