The Senior Accountant will participate in month and quarterly close meetings, and lead discussions on relevant areas while helping create and improve close process and analytics. The Senior Accountant will assist with adjusting historical financial statements, assist in the preparation and planning for financial statement audits, develop, document, and implement policies and processes that will scale with business growth by diving into key business areas & become a subject matter expert. All while working collaboratively across teams, providing actionable insights to help drive optimal business decisions.
Ad Hoc projects in addition to Stock Based Accounting responsibilities will give the Senior Accountant an array or responsibilities to promote career growth and opportunities!
Who you are:
- Bachelor’s Degree with concentration in Accounting
- 2+ years of overall accounting experience; Big 4, National or Local Accounting firm experience highly desired.
- eCommerce, Consumer Goods or Startup environment experience desired.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (V-Lookup, Pivot Tables).
- Proficiency with ERP/Accounting software’s (e.g. NetSuite, Bill.com) or alike required.
- Results-oriented, highly energetic, positive individual with hands-on mentality.
- Analytical mindset, data-driven, and detail oriented.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
