Description

As a sales operations associate with the Opendoor Direct Access (ODA) platform team, you will work with a small but highly experienced team with a primary mandate of making sure our daily operations run smoothly. You’ll get first hand exposure to top-tier institutional real estate buyers. In turn -- we’re looking for dynamic team players who can wear multiple hats, and aren’t afraid to roll-up their sleeves to help us quickly scale.

You will:

      • Work with our institutional partners and team of Brokers/Closing Managers to ensure each transaction is processed through the ODA platform correctly 
      • Be one of the team members responsible to help maintain a positive institutional partner relationship and high degree of transaction satisfaction
      • Standardize existing processes and develop new processes, in conjunction w/ business lead, to ensure transactions are processed correctly and efficiently 
      • Work directly with other Opendoor teams (acquisitions, closing, technology, analytics), and institutional buyer clients, and Title to provide solutions to transactional issues
      • Analyze and evaluate bids received from institutional partners
      • Facilitate the creation and execution of purchase contracts
 

We're excited about you because:

    • 2 years professional experience; Internships or professional experience in Business Operations, Real Estate, Investment Banking, Legal/Paralegal, or Business Consulting experience a plus 
    • You have experience working or managing real estate transactions and an ability to proactively identify/prevent issues from arising 
    • Experience creating and implementing processes 
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
    • You’re highly self-motivated, have a stellar work ethic, and you’re looking for the right company to support your growth
    • Experience working with Salesforce.com 
    • Experience with SQL a plus
    • OK with occasional weekend work
    • Excellent timeline management - ability to juggle multiple timelines with high attention to detail
    • Above all else you are bright, kind and goal-oriented
