Position Overview: 

You are a driven, self-motivated, and hungry to learn individual, who is looking to build a career in digital advertising.  As a Business Development Representative, you will be a key player in supporting and streamlining our pre-sales operations. Your primary focus in this role will be to support Sales with Salesforce data and be a talented hunter that excels at researching qualifying and prospecting leads.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Sales leaders to creatively prospect new clients via emails, gifts, and strategic marketing projects

  • Engage qualified and interested leads through outbound multimedia communication to book appointments and drive sales presentations for the Sales Executives.

  • Perform operational marketing tasks including; performing prospective email campaign, creative client gifting solutions, lead nurturing activities and managing a full schedule of follow up tasks while leveraging Sojern technology.

  • Proficiently utilize Salesforce, with Sojern’s architecture and guidelines; Follow Sojern sales processes, products, pricing and cross-functional operations

  • Own Salesforce data entry for Contacts, Products and Schedules of the assigned Sales team’s Opportunities

 

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • 1-3 years of general business or sales experience preferred

  • Excellent written and verbal/phone communication skills in English 

  • Goal-oriented, passionate, high-energy professional with a “no excuses” attitude

  • Self-motivated, willing to learn new technologies and able to work independently & cross-functionally

  • Must be comfortable & competent in communications to veteran reps & executives both internally & externally 

  • Hands-on experience using Salesforce.com preferred

  • Excel proficiency is a plus
