*This is a full-time position that allows you to either work from our Modsy HQ in San Francisco or work remotely from one of the following states: CA, WA, OR, IL, NY, NC, GA, MN, WA, NJ
As a Style Network Manager, you will be a huge part of making the magic happen at Modsy. You will be responsible for a large portion of our fast growing Style Network. These Stylists are the ones responsible for truly creating an outstanding customer experience through our proprietary cutting-edge styling tool. In this role, you will manage a group of Leads who directly oversee our Stylists. You will be responsible for building a world-class network of remote stylists with both a customer-first mentality and impeccable design skills. You will support shaping the way of our network by developing new training, communications and processes to improve the customer experience. The role requires someone with A+ people management skills and a strong passion for helping both Modsy and the customer succeed.

You are comfortable managing both in-house employees and a remote network. You are persuasive, encouraging, and motivating at all levels of interaction.

    • Customer-first leader. You are passionate about delivering great experiences for our customers and this is reflected in the teams and network you build. 
    • Multi-tasker and prioritization guru. You are comfortable organizing various daily tasks into an effective routine and training your team on best practices.
    • Motivated self-starter. You are a motivated self-starter and you have a desire to inspire others to continuously improve. You are comfortable working in an ambiguous environment and work independently to achieve results with minimal guidance.
    • Strategic thinker. You can translate high level strategy into actionable ideas. You’re comfortable synthesizing insights and reporting back to your manager. 
    • Resilient leader. You navigate ambiguous situations with ease. You are excited to test and try new things with little resources or direction. You can quickly shift gears when the direction changes. 
    • Goal-Oriented Master. You are comfortable navigating key metrics and motivating your team to hit short and long-term goals. You drive results by analyzing and understanding the data at hand and feel comfortable making decisions in partnership with your team. 

We'll be excited about you because you have:

    • 7+ years experience managing people in a retail setting, furniture or home decor a plus
    • Strong Customer-facing experience
    • Experience managing remote contractors
    • Has worked in a performance oriented, customer-centric environmentDesign fluent with interest in home furnishings and decor
    • Tech savvy, proficiency in Microsoft Suite and Google Drive, ability to understand new programs quickly including Modsy’s 3D Style Editor.
    • Natural ability to collaborate with teams across the organization and thrives in a dynamic, fast paced environment
    • Availability to work some weekends and holidays
