Position Overview
You will be responsible for building and maintaining enablement and accreditation programs for technical field facing roles within the Sales Engineering organization. Focus will be on content creation to accelerate new hire speed-to-competency (i.e. ramp to consistent quota attainment) by authoring a comprehensive training program, designing a self-directed online learning system, and managing the seamless transfer and documentation of pertinent product knowledge. This role will be responsible for creating content, labs, live training, role play exercises, certifications, etc. to continue to develop our SEs and get new hires up to speed as quickly as possible. Will also take ownership in architecting and maintaining a lab environment and to build lab exercises for SEs to gain proficiency with the POC process.
 
The ideal candidate is a high energy individual with hands on, customer facing technical expertise and experience working cross-functionally to develop and deliver technical content.

Responsibilities

      • Develop content and training including bootcamps and workshops designed to create a seamless transfer and documentation of pertinent product knowledge.
      • Play an active role in coaching, mentoring and training the Global Sales Engineering team on behavioral, technical and product knowledge, processes and procedures and any other SE related training requirements. 
      • Facilitate sourcing of subject matter experts to support enablement content development that can be adjusted to meet the needs of technical audiences with varying levels of technical depth
      • Build out a lab environment and tools
      • Establish a certification process for proficiencies and skill development.
      • Work closely and cross functionally with sales engineering, professional services, customer success, customer support and product marketing teams.
 

Qualifications

    • 2+ Years experience creating & delivering technical sales training
    • 3+ years of Hyper-V, Citrix, and or VMware experience
    • 3+ years Windows Server support & management
    • Previous experience of building high availability lab environments
    • Previous sales engineering experience
    • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, teaching and presentation skills.
    • Proven ability to quickly learn all aspects of technical software product.
    • Strong organizational skills and ability to effectively handle multiple projects / tasks in a fast-paced environment.
    • Ability to respond quickly to critical issues and meet planned deadlines.
    • Ability to work with minimal supervision while still contributing to a larger team.
    • Hands on Knowledge of Security related products and technologies (e.g. IDS/IPS, SIEM/Log Management, Endpoint Security, Incident Response, etc.)
    • Understanding of SOC environment 
    • Knowledge of security threats, solutions, security tools and network technologies
    • Self-motivated, resourceful, and comfortable in a nimble environment.
    • Ability to travel
