Description

ClearDATA is seeking a Director of IT to manage and lead ClearDATA’s Internal IT team. You’ll be responsible for managing internal cloud-based and physical infrastructure for a high-growth company that ensures that its Healthcare customers remain secure and compliant. You should be passionate about customer service, security, continuous improvement, self-learning, and enabling our company to better serve our customers.

Summary Of Duties:

The Director of IT oversees and manages effective operation of information technology-related systems, assets, and processes within the company. In this role, you will ensure strategic and operational alignment with business objectives.

Job Responsibilities that You’ll have:

  • Manage, maintain, and continuously improve a high-performing team with a customer service mindset
  • Direct daily 24/7 operations of the team to deliver on SLAs and business needs
  • Ensure that systems remain secure and compliant with HITRUST, GDPR, HIPAA, and other relevant controls, regulations and guidelines
  • Partner with other departments to align IT services with business needs
  • Plan and manage IT budget and expenses, including accurate and up-to-date asset inventories and life cycles
  • Manage internal system and process-related information security in collaboration with other departments
  • Develop and execute an IT plan that aligns with business strategy
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and collaborate with leadership and other departments for planning and timely action
  • Develop and communicate IT governance processes and practices
  • Manage vendor relationships for internal systems; including negotiation and renewals

Qualifications You’ll need:

  • Strong understanding of IT operations including service desk, desktop and server support, networking, network security, computer operations, identity and access management, role-based access, minimum necessary principles, and customer service principles
  • Clear understanding of computer systems and corresponding support requirements
  • Results-driven implementation of system, tool, and process improvements
  • Strong written, verbal, and executive-level presentation skills
  • Strong leadership skills, personal drive, and ability to see projects through to execution in a matrixed environment
  • Process improvement and project management experience; preferably with ITIL or similar approach
  • Strong analytical skills in budgeting, planning and policy maintenance and development
  • High growth company experience; preferably with pre and post IPO experience
  • Security and compliance experience; preferably in healthcare or similar industry
