Description

Are you looking to make an impact to LendingClub is looking for a Finance Solutions Manager to join our Finance team. This is a highly cross-functional role in which you will serve as the bridge between Finance, IT, Engineering and Business functions. You will help transform Finance through driving process optimization and system enhancements that will fully leverage the power of technology and data-driven analytics capabilities. You will support the Controllership, FP&A, Treasury and Tax teams.

One of your key strengths is navigating challenging situations in a solutions-oriented way as you will play a key role in bringing exciting new possibilities to Finance.

  • Be the product owner for our financial systems tech stack (initially Host Analytics but eventually Fusion, Kyriba, etc.)
  • Consult with project stakeholders to understand business problems, translate them into functional and non-functional requirements and create the Functional System Design document (FSD)
  • Partner with our business and product owners to analyze requirements, perform detailed data analysis and work with the team to transform them into data collection requirements
  • Evaluate information gathered from multiple sources and reconcile conflicts
  • Conduct gap analysis between application and stated customer requirements and collaborate with Architects and Developers to estimate project impact
  • Manage system implementations as appropriate
  • Lead structed meetings and clearly communicate tasks, deadlines and expectations
  • Coordinate and follow-up with UAT to confirm sign-off has been received
  • Ability to log, track and manage issues, bugs, and enhancements/features requests logged in JIRA
  • Understand the overall system environment, support scoping and testing, implement controls and evaluate deficiencies
  • Lead financial process walk-throughs with internal stakeholders and external auditors; update documentation and supporting material as needed
  • Assist in the prioritization and planning of business initiatives that align with the overall company roadmap. Be responsible for timelines, commitments, and overall project structure
  • Work closely with other BSAs and stakeholders to fulfill quarterly and monthly commitments
  • Document business processes related to product, operations and systems
  • Perform ad hoc analysis and leverage data and systems to validate and support all processes and systematic changes
  • Partner with fellow team members to ensure that the solution offered is of highest quality standards and follow industry best practices
  • Work with Technical team to develop and deploy functionality

 

 

About You

 

  • B.S. degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems (or related)
  • 5-7 years of leading process improvement initiatives leveraging Financial Systems automation
  • Experience with Finance systems (Preferably Host Analytics)
  • FP&A experience preferred
  • Strong leadership and project management skills including effective communication, facilitation, ability to build cross-functional partnerships and drive work across diverse sets of constituents
  • Familiarity with Financial Reporting, Accounting and Month-end Close requirements, as well as Procurement and Accounts Payable processes
  • Deep financial systems knowledge (ERP concepts, reporting and planning systems, integrations with custom applications, data warehousing & analytics concepts). Ability to translate between technical and financial
  • Experience leading Financial Systems implementations including requirements gathering, design, build, test and roll-out; and you have the project planning/management and documentation skills to go along with it
  • Extra points if you have experience with Oracle Fusion/Workday/ADP/Kyriba/Clearwater/Tableau
  • You are curious, creative, and take a proactive and continuous approach to improving execution; productively solving problems and optimizing processes
  • An ability to drive work forward and navigate in an ambiguous environment
