About The Role - Renewals Manager
Primarily responsible for quoting and processing renewal service/subscription contracts. The Service Contract Renewal Specialist is responsible for ensuring team objectives are met, transitioning issues into resolution and generating service contracts in a timely manner via the use of best practices.


    • Develop an overall account retention strategy leading to a 90+% renewal rate in the assigned territory/accounts
    • Overachieve on renewal revenue targets through comprehensive account management
    • Ensure CRM data integrity, using Salesforce and Salesforce CPQ such as forecasting, key activity tracking, etc.
    • Generating renewal quotes 90 days in advance of contract expiration
    • Uncover add-on business opportunities through the renewal sales cycle
    • Contact customers via phone and email to assess customer satisfaction
    • Proactively identify customer issues, work with the larger Proofpoint team to resolve them
    • Process renewals in accordance with contractual terms and company policy 
    • Maintain a high level of forecast accuracy


    • 3-6 years years of Work Experience
    • Strong customer data analytics skills  
    • Strong attention to details and specifics
    • Demonstrated strengths in working with cross-functional team members
    • Negotiation experience
    • Experience with Netsuite, Gainsight, and Salesforce
    • Experience with renewal quoting and contract processing
    • Microsoft Excel (ability to create equations/formulas and pivot tables)

Preferred Skills

    • 1 year of experience carrying an individual revenue quota in technology sales, or
    • Business-to-business quota carrying sales experience from another industry, or
    • 2+ years of Sales Development experience in a technology company  
    • Must have strong written and verbal communication skills and be able to clearly and effectively articulate Leanplum’s value
    • Experience interpreting legal contract language
    • Competitively driven to win
