We’re looking for an outstanding Web & SEO Manager to join our Corporate Marketing team, supporting organic search and web strategy for our B2B businesses. This position will report to the Head of Corporate Marketing.
 
As a channel leader of our website and SEO strategy, you will own the front page to our business, collaborating with teams to define our roadmap for how we scale our site traffic, performance and conversion.

What you will do

    • Drive the overall vision, strategy and reporting cadence for our logged-out web experience and infrastructure, while rolling up your sleeves to help execute on initiatives
    • Collaborate across functions – including Marketing, Product, Engineering, Design, Client success, Security, and Legal – to launch site changes that contribute to an SEO-friendly site architecture and optimize for visitors searching for target keywords
    • Work closely with the Analytics team to monitor traffic and performance and identify actionable insights to grow our organic presence and improve user experience, including A/B testing UI
    • Evolve Qubole.com into a true brand discovery platform and ensure that it is aligns with other Qubole properties including the logged in state of the site
    • Collaborate with Marketing, Creative and go-to-market functions to ensure that we are driving performance while powerfully communicating our brand and product through relevant, engaging content
    • Define and implement best practices for onsite optimization while 1) managing B2C Marketing needs to build and optimize landing experiences for large consumer campaigns, and 2) managing B2B Marketing needs to build and optimize conversion flows for lead generation and merchant paths.
    • Build, manage & ruthlessly prioritize feature requests and backlog items

What we look for

    • 8+ years of total experience with 2-4 years of experience driving strategy and execution of impactful organic search optimization or relevant web projects
    • In-depth experience with web analytics and SEO tools, such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console and/or Brightedge. Experience implementing analytics is a plus.
    • Expertise in WordPress, PHP/MySQL, HTML/HTML 5/CSS, cross-browser & device compatibility, web infrastructure set-up and security is preferred but not a must
    • Strong track record of leading successful projects across in-house or agency roles working on a site with a high proportion of traffic coming from organic search
    • Experience building and using CMS custom templates
    • Entrepreneurial spirit to build best in class SEO strategy and web operations from scratch with an openness to testing and learning
    • Ability to work with back-end SEO elements such as .htaccess, robots.txt , metadata, site speed optimization, and related skills
    • Knowledge on US and international web standards and protocols
    • Familiarity with conversion rate optimization is nice to have
