Job Summary

Responsible for validating outcomes improvement results and the development of customer case studies. This includes working with Catalyst client engagement and analytics services teams to identify and nurture outcome improvements, validating and analyzing improvement results using the principles of improvement science and knowledge of hospital operations, development of client interview questions, conducting client interviews, developing  case study outlines and content, and editing of the case study once it is developed by a professional writer.


Recommended Skills

  • Healthcare acumen, with 5-7 years of clinical and healthcare operations experience
  • Experience working directly with clinicians, and multidisciplinary quality improvement teams
  • Strong background in improvement science, managing data integrity, and applying and designing analytics tools
  • Demonstrated ability to validate outcomes improvement results, and to analyze and synthesize quantitative and qualitative information  
  • Ability to develop client interview questions and appropriately probe to understand the why, hows, and results of clients’ improvement outcomes—tying these outcomes to benefits received from Health Catalyst solutions and services
  • Excellent English language written/oral communications skills and the ability to develop compelling outlines for the writers and customer-facing presentations
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills; ability to build, manage and influence stakeholders and internal teams
  • Strong negotiating, consensus-building and conflict resolution skills
  • Strong project management skills; able to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver results


Education & Relevant Experience

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of clinical/operational experience within a healthcare setting
  • RN preferred
  • B.S. in a Clinical Area, Business, Management, Engineering, Computer Science, Finance or Economics required—MBA, MSN, MN, or MHA preferred
  • Healthcare technology data analytics and marketing experience are a bonus
