We're looking for a fearless Director of Business Operations/Chief of Staff to join us as we launch our next vertical, beauty. Our beauty business will introduce our customers to a new beauty shopping experience that allows her to shop 450 different clean beauty products through both eCommerce and traditional retail. This is a unique role that gets the opportunity to work hand-in-hand with our Vice President of Beauty as we grow this business. In this role, you will help manage every touchpoint of our beauty business and will have the opportunity to help shape us as the leading perspective in beauty. Our goal is to help our customers discover and shop new beauty products, brands and trends and to introduce them to a new world of clean beauty.

Your Role and Impact

    • Work closely with the Vice President of Beauty to manage every touch point of the business
    • Collaborate across teams to implement or improve processes that deliver better value to our customers including: marketing, customer service, merchandising, inventory/operations
    • Build and manage the P&L, develop and refine financial forecasts and report on performance vs plan 
    • Troubleshoot and handle the daily needs of the beauty vertical 
    • Act as the communication arm internally with executives and stakeholders to ensure that all team members understand our business and their role in its success 
    • Attend and lead meetings and calls and ensure all action items are executed against 
    • Write drafts of proposals, emails, business strategies and tactics 
    • Act as a sounding board for new ideas and strategies that help us improve her beauty shopping experience
