The Role
We’re looking for a Regional Director, Market Development (hunter role) to expand our rapidly growing customer base in the Southeast by leading enterprise sales from prospecting through to contract signature. The right candidate has a history of consistent high performance and is passionate about making our healthcare delivery system more efficient.  
The Regional Director, Market Development - Southeast will be responsible for the following territory: North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, and Florida.

Personal Attributes

    • You have a high emphasis on and comfort with direct prospecting, networking and lead conversion.
    • You have a track record of success in an unstructured/early-stage company environment.
    • You use your ability to compellingly convey complex ideas to end users and functional leaders using examples, anecdotes and stories.
    • You have the ability to deliver compelling product demonstrations that translate complex technical concepts to the day-to-day needs of non-technical audiences.
    • You are naturally curious and analytical.
    • You're an intuitive thinker, able to process inputs quickly and pivot messaging / emphasis to address audience interest.
    • You have experience working in high recurring revenue software sales environments (preferred).

Core Position Responsibilities:

    • Develop and execute a territory sales plan that maps to company go-to-market strategy.
    • Meet net-new interaction / meeting goals through networking, prospecting and conversion of leads .
    • Manage sales process from initial interaction through to close.
    • Accountable for achieving a territory sales target.
    • Quickly become expert on the product use cases, underlying technology platform and future vision and lead conversations with a wide range of health system contacts.
    • Lead product demonstrations that communicate complex technical and operational concepts using crisp, easy to understand, value oriented language/stories.
    • Collaborate with company leadership and the go-to-market team to continually evolve and improve product packaging, positioning and pricing.
    • Work closely with sales and marketing leadership to define and evolve sales process, market approach strategy, target account definition, etc.
    • Use to keep all territory activity, opportunities and forecasting current.

Position Qualifications:

    • 8+ years experience selling complex solutions to hospitals and health systems.
    • Strong interpersonal skills. In particular, prior experience building trust in executive relationships, employing indirect influence cross functionally, and a clear communication style.
    • Basic understanding of hospital operations and economics.
    • Experience as a hunter, and comfort building a territory.
    • Ability to travel periodically (approximately 50%).
    • A passion for fixing our healthcare system.
