Silk Road Medical is hiring a Marketing Coordinator, who will support the various day to day activities of the Marketing team. You will be responsible for leading the planning, logistical operations and execution of Silk Road Medical participation in domestic tradeshows and other marketing events. You will assure the fulfillment and maintenance of all marketing collateral and resources is addressed in supporting the field sales team. The ideal candidate for this position will be well organized and have the ability to multitask in a fast paced environment and exude energy and a passion for marketing. The Role: 

  • Support, plan, coordinate, and execute trade shows, symposia, and special event activities
  • Coordinate shipment of equipment and marketing materials to each event
  • Communicate details/logistics to the team and event attendees
  • Travel to some trade show or event locations and coordinate set-up, breakdown, and on-site management
  • Gather leads and feedback from each event and incorporate key takeaways for future events
  • Track and evaluate expenditures associated with events to optimize overall return on investment
  • Manage physical inventory of marketing materials, including fulfillment
  • Manage electronic organization of marketing assets
  • Work across cross-functional teams such as marketing, sales, clinical, R&D, and customer service
  • Support field team with marketing efforts
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

The Person – Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of experience in event planning or marketing communications
  • Bachelors degree preferred
  • Experience with marketing administration the medical industry is a plus
  • Detail-oriented and with strong organizational skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment and to manage multiple projects
  • Results-driven, proactive and able to work both independently and in groups

Travel Required: 

  • Minimal travel required (10%)
