What you’ll do:

    • Work collaboratively with internal Qubole technology stakeholders regarding technology controls reviews and assessments. The scope of these activities will include participating on any related teams on a consultative basis.
    • Design, test, and document controls related to IT compliance with AICPA Trust Principles (SOC2) and ISO 27001 requirements
    • Plan and execute IT audits to assess and evaluate potential technology risks and controls issues. 
    • Curate audit findings into management reports and provide recommendations to stakeholders regarding remediation or mitigation of identified risks.
    • Help to execute Qubole’s risk management program which includes the identification, assessment, tracking and reporting of technology risks and status.
    • Design continuous audit testing program and refine controls to support testing automation.
    • Get exposure to various cloud based technologies and applications to better understand the various risks with implementation and how to adapt and evolve control auditing approaches. 

You must have:

    • Bachelor’s degree in a business related field with a focus on information systems. Additional certification, such as CISA/CISSP or comparable, is desired.
    • At least 2 to 3 years of related, applicable experience in information systems, cyber security, auditing, and experience as a staff or senior role. 
    • Experience working knowledge of SOC2 and ISO 27001 frameworks to perform audit reviews.
    • Experience communicating audit results and issues to internal and external stakeholders and summarizing for various levels of management.
    • Understanding of or willingness to learn about internal control concepts with the ability to evaluate and determine the adequacy of controls by considering business and technology risks.
    • Practical knowledge and understanding of key audit concepts such as frameworks, control design and operating effectiveness, basic IT audit areas (application, system, development, security, operations, IT general controls, etc.)
    • Experience with cloud computing terms and concepts.
    • Experience or interest in scripting/query languages like python, SQL to aide in auditing population collection and testing.
    • The willingness to go “above and beyond” to fully understand and stay abreast of external and internal factors that may have an effect on Qubole business.
