Qubole is looking for a Graphic Designer to amplify our Marketing, Products, Brand and Sales efforts across multiple mediums. As a key member of the Corporate Marketing team, the Graphic Designer is accountable for bringing rich content to life and adding energy to our brand. The Graphic Designer will report to the Head of Corporate Marketing.
 
In this role, you will utilize a full range of skills including research, ideation, interaction design, and visual design to lead the design process throughout all phases of a project to deliver best-in-class visual ideas and service. You’ll brainstorm and collaborate with our corporate marketing team, internal teams, and vendors to produce marketing materials for prospects, partners and customers. You’ll leverage your multi-disciplinary design skills and passion for branding to seamlessly float between projects – everything from graphic and website design, email landing pages, swag, event collateral, and other extensions of the Qubole brand. In addition, you’ll support ideation and design of marketing campaign programs, ensuring our internal and customer facing materials uphold Qubole’s brand standards.

Role and Responsibilities:

    • Creation, design, execution of artwork for marketing promotional materials and campaigns, including presentations, print, packaging, signage, multi-media, and graphics for the web
    • Conceptualize and create solution briefs, infographics, architectural diagrams, and documents throughout the development process (layout in Adobe InDesign, vector artwork creation in Adobe Illustrator, iStock image search/selection, photo editing in Adobe Photoshop, and content review / revisions / file packaging) 
    • Produce images for use in social posts, email banners, and online ads
    • Create web site artwork for home and landing pages (i.e., hero image, anchor content cover page images, tiles, mesh overlay images)
    • Support events with creative for booth design, retractable banners, promotional items and rolling presentations
    • Other activities such organising artwork files for a shared library and brand standard compliance (i.e., brand standards for partners)
    • Manage print and digital marketing collateral such as brochures, trade show exhibition graphics, sales signage, and other materials for programs and events.
    • Create effective processes for all creative services activities within the company and continually streamline to increase efficiency
    • Monitor creative execution and quality of all projects

Desired Skills and Experience:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Art Design, Communications, Marketing or related discipline
    • 3+ years in professional commercial design, preferably with a marketing or creative agency
    • Extensive experience with Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign, specifically with mockups, web design and multimedia presentation
    • Experience working with WordPress templates
    • Strong understanding of front-end web and mobile development, including HTML, CSS, iOS / Android, and other technologies and prototyping tools such as Adobe Premiere
    • Experience working on branding, ads, websites, logos, icons and other graphic elements supporting a marketer or agency for both digital and print
    • A dynamic portfolio showcasing highly refined sensibilities across many mediums—with proven experience in identity systems, interaction, balance, hierarchy, typography, grids, layout, and print design
    • Deep knowledge and understanding of the visual design process, with the desire to continually improve at every stage of design and development.
    • Ability to tackle competing priorities under tight timelines with the flexibility to pivot when necessary
    • Passionate and curious with a keen awareness of the evolving landscape of technologies, tools, and trends in design.
