Minted is seeking an outgoing, personable, and detail-oriented Community Coordinator who will manage relationships with Minted’s global community of artists. This role is ideal for a creative, but organized individual who is passionate about design, supporting the careers of independent artists and designers. This role will ensure that artists receive proactive communication from Minted that is timely, accurate, and effective.
 
Artist Relations team finds, supports, engages, and retains Minted’s talented community of artists. We protect the one of Minted’s most strategic assets and fuel Minted’s mission of uncovering exceptional design from independent artists all over the world.

You will:

    • Own individual artist email cases and support artist file request process. Deliver a high standard of service
    • Create and send emails to Minted artists about community events, design Challenges, and other updates
    • Monitor the Community Facebook Group daily and help flag artist issues and create posts
    • Provide support and manage logistics for all artist calls, events, programs, and trips. This includes scheduling, managing and sending invites, working with third-parties, organizing project plans, and coordinating artist outreach
    • Gather assets and create posts for our Minted blog and manage any inbound artist requests from PR, Brand, Merchandising or Marketing
    • Provide general administrative support across the Artist Relations team, such as fulfilling artist prize and reward commitments
    • Be an internal advocate for artist needs and product requests across merchandising, brand, marketing, product management, and engineering teams

You are:

    • Able to provide excellent customer service and building strong relationships with individuals
    • Able to roll up your sleeves and communicate directly with artists and solve problems on their behalf
    • Careful about the small details in serving artists needs and managing relationships
    • Friendly, helpful, positive and thoughtful in all communications
    • Passionate about design, art, or other creative fields and excited about Minted’s mission of supporting independent artists

You have:

    • 1-2 years of relevant experience
    • Outstanding communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills
    • Strong attention to detail, organization, and accountability
    • Experience with email tools and social media platforms, such as Facebook, Salesforce, and Sailthru 
    • Event planning experience a plus
    • Plugged into art or design communities a plus
    • A Bachelor’s Degree
