Birdies is looking for a talented Digital Marketing Manager with a history of building and scaling high ROI

digital marketing programs. We need a fast learner that can analyze data and come to actionable

conclusions quickly – someone who can craft a recommendation and make it happen. This role is great

for someone who wants to grow and lead an amazing team.



• Build, grow and optimize online marketing programs (paid social, paid search, display, affiliate

and more) in order to acquire new customers and drive profitable sales

• Hire, coach and develop the paid acquisition marketing team

• Set the strategic direction for A/B and multivariate tests on ads, placements and landing pages

• Responsible for the day to day management of the online marketing programs, including

budgeting, forecasting, accruals and reporting

• Ensure paid marketing channels meet core KPIs and are aligned with brand marketing calendars

• Track, measure and report online marketing performance on a regular basis

• Collaborate with brand, creative, merchandising, and site teams to execute new and existing


• Proactively evaluate and recommend new marketing opportunities and technologies for driving

customer acquisition


Ideal Candidate Characteristics

• 5+ years of proven experience building high ROI online marketing programs that acquire new


• Expert level knowledge of Facebook or Google and experience with SEM, SEO, affiliate

marketing, paid social media advertising, display and mobile advertising

• A deep understanding of ecommerce technology (web analytics, ad tracking, a/b/n testing, tag

management, content management)

• A creative and analytical mind with exceptional problem-solving skills

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Results and deadline driven; Takes great pride in their work and takes ownership

• Able to work independently with little direction and multi-task while being productive and


• Inherent interest in fashion, retail and digital marketing

• Working knowledge of HTML helpful

• Advanced Excel skills and fully proficient with Word and PowerPoint

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or a related field (MBA a plus)
