Position Summary
 
Join a team providing a leading-edge security solution to protect web services.  As part of the IT organization, the IT Network Engineer will ensure all infrastructure functioning properly to support the business operations. This position requires the ability to analyze, troubleshoot and resolve technology / facility issues, configure and maintain equipment, and support a variety of industry-standard tools and proprietary software systems.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

    • Maintains a strong customer focus in providing services, at times conferring with vendors, partners, and clients.
    • Oversees the administration of the corporate networks, including compute layer, storage layer, and network layer.
    • Primary interface to the building management on issues and enhancements in global locations. 
    • Ownership of net build outs in global locations. 
    • Develop new strategies and IT procedures to increase global team collaboration, improve operational efficiency, enhance workflow and improve customer satisfaction.
    • Ability to create new technical solutions, improve existing designs, and modify and test software tools.
    • Capable of comprehending, analyzing, and troubleshooting highly complex systems and production processes.
    • Self-starter with ability to balance a sense of urgency against measured thinking and attention to detail.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

    • 4+ years of relevant experience required.
    • Technical skills with MacOS and Linux operating systems.
    • Written and verbal communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with system users and other technical colleagues.
    • Solid understanding of network design, performance and security.
    • Able to diagnose and resolve issues across multiple communication protocols, networks, and operating systems.
    • Experience working with physical and virtual servers.
    • Coding and scripting experience.
    • Experience with GCP and AWS including routing and VPN.

Bonus Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

    • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
    • Knowledge of scripting languages (ex: Python and Go).
    • Experience with Aviatrix VPN and routing.
    • Cisco certification.
