As the PR Manager for Grove, you will lead all day to day management of Grove’s PR arm. You will be a key stakeholder in the ongoing development of how we tell our Grove story to the outside world - primarily the media. You will work with the Head of Brand/Comms and the Owned Brand Team to set the communications strategy for Grove - from product launches, to advocacy moments, to key business news - and will manage the execution of the strategy with our core agency partners. 
Your mission: Build high-level brand awareness for Grove, while creating a deeper level of engagement and affinity with our current customers, through PR and great storytelling.

Your Role & Impact

    • Effectively communicate the Grove story and mission to all agencies and media
    • Drive awareness and adoption of Grove Collaborative Flagship brand and Sub Brand extensions, such as Clean Beauty, CBD, Sexual Wellness, through PR tactics
    • Partner with our agencies and our in house brand teams to increase awareness and adoption of Grove owned brands with innovative PR strategies, product launches, 360 marketing campaigns, and activations
    • Own the day to day management of all PR agency partners in order to set them up for success
    • Act as an expert on the Grove brand, products and PR worthy initiatives in order to effectively liaison with agency partners, and other key stakeholders
    • Partner with our agencies to generate low lift ideas and activations to keep Grove relevant throughout the year
    • Manage all incoming PR requests
    • Facilitate the review and approval process of all PR material

About You

    • Self starter with proven track record (4-5+ years) of PR experience as an account director, or in-house PR manager
    • Consumer brand PR experience is important, DTC consumer brand experience even better!
    • You’re incredibly organized, responsive, and able to effectively manage multiple projects at once
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills are a must
    • Passionate about mission-driven brands and storytelling
    • Obsessed with staying current on the news cycle, and trends within the categories you’re working on
    • You embody a multitasker/collaborator/executer all in one!
    • Basic understanding of the eCommerce space and web traffic metrics
