As Grove’s customer base and operations teams continue to go, we are looking for a we are looking for a Training Manager in San Francisco responsible for overseeing the development and delivery of the training programs for our customer support and fulfillment operations teams. This role will evaluate training needs and current practices for new hire training, existing employee education and create training development plans for various sites and roles. The Training Manager is experienced in developing and scaling training programs and teams for a fast-growing company. 

Your Role and Impact

    • Manage and lead a team of trainers and content creators
    • Develop a training roadmap and work with the relevant stakeholders (forecasting, recruiting, site directors) to set training dates
    • Create an orientation curriculum to onboard new classes for our operation centers (Customer Support and Fulfillment) 
    • Own the strategy for our self-help knowledge base infrastructure and content
    • Choose and develop the LMS for our Operations team. Set it up for initial and on-going learning
    • Work proactively and efficiently, identifying issues and researching solutions to offer a recommendation. This includes proposing tool changes or new system implementations (particularly with LMS & our internal CRM tools)
    • Collect, compile, and review performance data from past training classes to inform decisions on changes to training strategy and materials
    • Monitor and document training costs; work with department leadership and financial counterparts to minimize costs and develop a long-term training budget

About You

    • BA in Education preferred
    • Instructional Design certification preferred
    • 5+ years in a senior Training & Development role 
    • Experience in industries such as e-commerce, fulfillment, manufacturing or retail a plus
    • This role is based in our Headquarters located in San Francisco, CA 
    • Ability to travel 25% of the time as needed
