Copper is seeking a talented Marketing Automation Manager who will lead in the design, development, and optimization of all programs and processes within Copper’s Marketing Automation platform, Marketo.  You will help guide our SMB lead acquisition and engagement strategy; focusing on increasing conversion and velocity through email and integrated campaigns.  By establishing data standards and learning workflows you will help us better understand our audience segments, and increase the relevancy and timeliness of each marketing interaction.  You are very passionate about being part of a team and working collaboratively with small teams and senior leadership alike while never settling for “good enough.” 

What you'll do....

    • Manage all email marketing programs, including complex nurtures, batched ad hoc sends, onboarding, and customer communications
    • Test and optimize emails, landing pages, creative, and copy - ensuring the findings from these tests are operationalized into templates and playbooks
    • Develop data model and standards for growing customer/segment insights through digital campaigns, data appends, or content offers testing
    • Partner with Demand Generation Managers to define technical requirements and provide insight into Marketo’s role in cross-channel/integrated campaigns
    • Manage email database health, growth, and email compliance across key regions.  Report regularly on database performance and insights 
    • Own business-critical processes and workflow such as Lead Scoring, Lead Assignment, Subscription Management, Data Normalization, and CRM workflows
    • Drive the evolution of our lifecycle programs towards automated, trigger-based, dynamically personalized messages
    • Translate ROI and CAC/LTV insights from the business into processes and programs within Marketo

What you have...

    • 2+ years of relevant marketing experience
    • Advanced experience working with Marketo (Marketo Certified Expert preferred)
    • Deep understanding of key elements of engagement and retention strategies and tactics, including customer journeys, lifecycle marketing, marketing automation, A/B testing and optimization
    • Strong analytical background and data-driven, demonstrating the ability to understand key performance drivers and the ability to execute against findings
    • Great excellent written and verbal communication skills across a range of internal and external stakeholders with varying degrees of technical expertise
    • Strong results orientation, proven record performing to aggressive growth target
