Job Summary
SVP of Client Renewal and Expansion has primary accountability for the renewal and expansion of Health Catalyst’s customer engagements and the success of every client. The primary financial metric for which this leader is responsible is the dollar-based net retention rate across all clients each year. Additional metrics of client success include client satisfaction & team member engagement, measured improvements from client sites, and financial management.
This role provides management and accountability for All Regional Senior Account Executives (SAEs). This position serves as a member of the Health Catalyst Leadership team and serves as a visible leader of our strong commitment to continuous improvement, the Health Catalyst operating principles, cultural attributes, and mission; as well as the assurance that all client-facing resources contributing to the client engagement uphold these attributes. This role may also serve as a Senior Account Executive for a limited number (likely only 1 or 2) of selected clients.
Key Duties and Skills Required
Lead Client Renewal and Expansion strategy and execution, and hold primary accountability for this execution across all of Health Catalyst’s clients
Lead and effectively manage Regional Senior Account Executives
Serve as a member of the Health Catalyst Leadership Team, providing insight and strategic direction to Health Catalyst as a whole
Develop and maintain strong cross-company relationships, be a model of partnership and collaboration with colleagues in professional services and technology organizations, and well as in interfacing with other functional groups like sales, marketing, HR, legal and finance
Exemplary track record of client renewal and expansion
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, to leverage in maintaining strong client relationships and successfully negotiating meaningful renewals and expansions
